Visiting Santa
Our First trip to see Santa this year didn’t go so well. I do think it’s a pretty cute picture.
Second trip was at the ward Christmas party and mom didn’t leave him so it went much better. They had Santa come on a bus, Titan was so happy to see the bus but wasn’t quite sure about being inside.
Christmas Time
I took a half day at work so we could run up to festival of trees on a day and time it wasn’t to busy. It was fun to see all of the trees but being the emotional pregnant person I am any tree that suggested someone was still sick or didn’t make it made me cry. We bought the cinnamon rolls. This year my mom got together with her service group and made a tree dedicated to a friend.
I had a chance to go with the Morris’ to see Jesus the Christ put on the LDS church. It was nice to remember the true meaning of Christmas. Our Bishop has challenged us to read the the four gospel's of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to remember the true meaning of Christmas and I was surprise how much scripture was quoted in the production of Jesus the Christ. I think I’ll have to make Brady take the night off work so he can go next year.
Our Christmas card, this year I wasn’t sure if I’d do one but decided I’d regret if I didn’t do it. I did a pintrest idea for neighbor gifts (the idea also came from Jodi, hope you don’t mind) it’s a pomegranate sugar scrub, super easy just sugar and the pomegranate dawn mixed together.
We made it to temple square to see all the lights with all of the Summers family which never happens. We went to dinner before at Brick Oven. We got to open our ornaments and jammies from Grandma and Grandpa Summers. This year they got Titan a glass school bus he loves buses because of a toy bus they have every time we see one while driving he gets super excited. Our family ornament was a tribute to my shoe obsession and Brady's great support. It’s a pink shoe chandelier. Brady and I bought a trolley car to represent our trip to San Francisco and we bought Titan a Mickey to represent his two trips to Disneyland and his love of the Mickey Mouse Club House TV show.

Time to Update
Lets start with April: We went on a trip to California with our Friends Justin and Jodi. It was a blast. We drove out though Wendover in their truck with us our kids so we were a full truck. The first night we stayed in Angles Camp it was such a pretty area it makes me see why everyone loves California so much. We then drove into San Francisco finding parking for a truck that big was kind of difficult I must say. We stayed for two days and both days we walked down to the Fisherman's Warf and visited the aquarium and Alcatraz. It was nice to just walk around and enjoy the sights. Then we’d ride the trolley back to our hotel after a long day of walking.
Then we drove down to Disneyland and ended up being their on our 5 year anniversary. Justin and Jodi watched Titan for us that night so we could spend our anniversary together. The next two days were spent in Disneyland. We spent the day driving home. It was so much fun loved it such a fun week with friends. I already wish I could go again.
May: the end of May we found out that we were pregnant. Yah! We now know that We are having a girl and she is due January 24th. So as of now we are excitedly waiting for her arrival. Planning her nursery and getting things together. Then nice thing this time around so far is we have most of the things we need so we are getting all the fun stuff and I’m enjoying making girly things. One of my first belly shots. The second picture is how we announced the baby to people.
June, July, August, September we really didn’t have to crazy of a summer just enjoyed going to seven peaks with our pass of all passes. Then we’d go to the Lehi pool and the splash pad in Highland. For Brady's work they took us to Cowabungabay it was kind of cold but a super fun idea. We also went to Lagoon and Titan loved that. We went to the zoo and Titan was able to understand the animals and the new polar bear exhibit was amazing. We also went to 2 Bee’s baseballs games. one of them had fireworks after which was so much fun.
Not the best pic from seven peaks but I never think to bring my camera thanks to Jodi I was able to have one picture.
Thanksgiving
We found out from one of Brady’s co workers that at the Zoo on Thanksgiving they feed the animals some fun food. Since Brady had the morning off and our first dinner was at 1 we went up to check it out.
They fed the tigers a pumpkin with meat inside of it. By the time we got there they weren’t to interested. We headed to the gorillas they were getting pumpkin pie it was fun to watch them play around with it and try and figure out what it was.
The elephants were also a fun one to watch they got large pumpkins and were smashing them. Then the largest elephant took a whole pumpkin and ate it in one big bite. Then we got front row to see the bears eat their pumpkins. I think Titan really enjoyed that since we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear often he knows what bears are so fun to see them up close.
We then ran down to Payson for dinner with my family, which my mom did a beautiful display on her table of dishes and serving plates. The food was good and fun to get together with some of my siblings.
Then off to Breaking Dawn part 2 with my family. I agree with everyone else that it was the best of the five. But my back did start to hurt during the movie, wish Brady had been able to come to rub my back. Guess my movie days are over till after the baby.
Then to finish the busy day off I had dinner with the Summers side of the family.Titan loved his pumpkin pie, but he played with the second piece. It was pretty relaxed dinner with great food. It was a long day but worth all the fun.

Halloween
This is the first year we were really able to enjoy Halloween. Titan dressed up as an elephant. Super cute easy costume. We had a fun night at home making home made pizza and carving our pumpkin. Then we went trick or treating and made sure to make it out to Titan’s nursery leaders houses so he would recognize some people. He kept saying after leaving “nice” which is what he says when he is being nice and sharing with other people so cute.
Here is me holding my pumpkin sized belly
Ready to go trick or treating
Titan’s 2nd Birthday Party
I had a big debate on if it was even worth doing a party for a two year old and decided in the long run that what would it hurt. I’d have pictures to remember it by.
Here is the super cute invitation that I found online and Brady improved and duplicated for me.
Here is the banner I made and the drinks labels Brady made.
Here is the decked our party room and cupcakes
The party favorites that say Fillmore's organic oil.
He got a bunch of great gifts and toys from all of the cousins and friends that came. Thanks everyone who was able to make it such a fun night.
We Moved…a few months ago
Brady's parents bought a house with a nice basement apartment a few years ago. The opportunity came available for us to rent the apartment from them and rent out our house. We decided to jump on it!
The day we moved I found out that we were pregnant with our second baby! That’s always exciting. I must say I do love living below my in-laws. They have been so helpful with Titan whenever I have a last minuet thing that I need a sitter for. I also love that when we visit Grandma and Papa how easy it is to pack up and go home, or run home when I forget something. I do think it’s really helping Titan’s relationship with his Grandparents and his uncle Carter who might be his favorite.
Disneyland run away!
For Brady’s birthday this year I was feeling a little guilty having not done anything fun. So while I was at work the day before his birthday I decided to plan a spur of the moment trip to his favorite place. Disneyland. I called him and said pack your bags we are going on a trip, don’t ask where or how much I’m going to spend. To my surprise he said ok.
I drove home we booked our hotel, bought our tickets and started the 10 hour drive. I thought about flying but it came out to be twice as much and only get us there a few hours earlier with long layovers.
Titan was a champ on the drive we made it to Anaheim at 11pm.
Then Spend the day in Disneyland!!
Cars land was so cute looked just like the main street in the movie.
We had a hard time getting picture because Titan loves to play with Brady's phone so every time we pulled it out he wanted to play with so we got lots of crying picture and reaching pictures. We will have to bring the real camera from now on.
We then drove home that night. It worked well since Brady works freights he didn’t have much of a problem staying up all night and since I wake up at 4am for work I didn’t have a problem taking over for him once we hit Utah. It was a blast one of those memories I hope I will always remember.
Driving home from a fun trip.

Potty Training
Yep you read right we are potty training Titan. Or as my mom says potty training the mom.
Titan has been very interested in the potty as of late wanting to flush and I would put him on before his bath and he would go. We decided to get him started on it and its been going well.
We went with the incentive program, he loves Cars so that was the main motivator.
The first day I thought it was an awful idea but ever since he has been pretty good. With a small amount of luck we will have him done by the time the baby gets here in January.

Easter Fun
Well let the post about Easter begin.
Titan loved Easter he got the idea of
- Picking up the egg
- Putting it in the basket
- Running to the next egg
He does love to clean up the toys at home so I’m sure it has something to do with that.
Here he is with his basket and new Easter outfit from Grandma Summers. We didn’t match the basket and cloths on purpose.
We also got to do Easter at Grandma Perkins house. Uncle Sam bought chick and that made it fun.
If we are lucky we will do Easter egg hunt at Grandma Summers tomorrow.
I think he is to young to understand the true meaning of Easter, maybe next year.
