Love and War

They had a lot of fun ideas, so from their I was inspired to do this date.I brought home some WAR HEADS and told Brady that our date would be war theamed. While he was at work I sent him an army joke. Then it was a late night after Brady got of work kind of date. Titan was in bed and when Brady got home he found this note. “Is all fair in love and War?”

This note says, “I challenge you to a thumb war contest winner gets a five min back rub”

I lost but he does has bigger thumbs than I do, I still need to pay up on the back rub.

Brady is not much of a game player so this note says, “since you love me we will play war” I won this game!

We watch a lot of challenge type shows and there is a show on food network I believe called cup cake wars where they decorate cup cakes with a theme. So this one says, “cupcake wars Theme: Love”

The heart is Brady's’ and I put food coloring in sugar and rolled the frosting covered cupcake. I decided that Brady won this since I had all day to plan mine and he is pretty creative.

To finish off the date the not said, “now what Star Wars do you want to watch”

Door Hanger

I have finally decided to take my fall wreath off my door. Yes I know very sad that its taken this long. I just can never find a wreath I like or once I find on the season is almost over and I can’t justify buying one. So I made a welcome sign that is not season dependent so I can keep it up as long as I want.

First I bought wooden letters, scrapbook paper and modpog.

After I cut the paper out to the letters how I wanted them I put a think varnish over them. For my first try I think it turned out pretty good. Thanks to my sister in law telling me the tricks.

I waited for the letters to dry for 24 hours then hot glued the letters together. My mom got these cool rusty keys that I tied to the sign. I think it looks great and I think its cute that if you are just kind of looking at it is looks like it says “we Love” which is a cute sign also. Ya for crafting.

Refashion

This is the before and after of a dress that I love but as you can see is to short and I think made me look fat. (yes I had a baby 4 1/2 months ago) We just cut the top off and made the skirt as long as we could I love it now.

Next is a two shirts that I love but they are getting old. The white one didn't look very good with my chest so we cut the top off of the long sleeve red shirt and cut the top of the white one. I think it turned out pretty cut.

This one is a love hate relationship, I found this black shirt at savers for two bucks so we took some of the red shirt from above and added ruffles and the sleeves. but once I put the shirt on the ruffles stretched out and look kinda silly so I think I will try and fix them. (I think I look so funny when I try and be serious)
I had a blast doing this and now have new cloths to wear with spending grand total of 3 dollars! I still have two more shirts to try and combined we will see how that goes.

Brady putting Titan down for a nap, I just love that Brady is such a great dad.

I wore my red shoes to lunch.

I got a thank you card int he mail. I think thank you card are so classy.

I went to check the mail and Zack (my nephew) and Attlee watched me it was kinda cute.

I had a great day off baby sitting my nephew, hanging out with my sister and watching a movie with Brady and the boys. Great relaxing day off.

Four month Stats

I know this is a bit late (two weeks) but I thought you might want to know. I had Brady take Titan in to get his shots this time, the doctor said that Titan did a great job he barley cried. That makes me feel a little better about not going.

So far...which I have no clue how the numbers translate for the rest of his life but he is looking to be tall and skinny. Until he meet Gandalfo's. :)

Going on a walk

Days when I am alone, which seem to be a lot of days lately I go on walks with Mr. Titan and Attlee (the dog) I just love my little neighborhood, it has this park type thing that has walking paths so I stroll over there and go for a fairly long walk. Then the houses behind my house have this cute man made lake. It is very cute but with the standing water that close to the lake we get misquotes like crazy glad I can just walk by and enjoy it but not have to live too close.

On another random note, I have been doing this new thing with cooking where I will make to much food and freeze what we don't eat or I will spend a few hours cooking different meals then freezing them for future use when we are in a hurry and don't have time to cook or shop. This is all in effort to keep us from going out to eat which we do way to much, so figures crossed we can keep it up.

What I did late last night.

When all alone at night I would normally go to bed but since I had the next day off I decide to take me time and do some card crafting. I always want to have cute cards to give but I'm a last min type person so I didn't have time to get cards done. So this is what I did! There are baby cards, birthday cards, and some that could be all purpose.
